:bulletred: GRAND HUNTER - Random Doodles Part 01 :bulletred:

Here are doodles of my new fantasy/adventure cartoon that is GRAND HUNTER. I'm still in a constant process of planning and conceptualising the series!

Also I'm on a journey to improve on my handling of anatomy and character expressing both in a bodily and facial sense.

For the first time I'm going to rely on using shapes and circles for guidelines drawing bodies! It's been a lot of fun trying out this new technique! :)

Anyways here's an explanation for the following numbers on the drawing (mind you these sketches were all drawn in Scotland on the A3 pad. In addition it was hard to scan such big pieces so I took photos instead, joined them together and added an 'old treasure map' dye colour to give it that ancient look!)

:bulletgreen: DESCRIPTION :bulletgreen:

01) Ashworth propelling off the ground and swinging his fists in an upward motion to execute an off-the-ground uppercut to blow his foes away! SHO-RYU-KEN!! *epic fail for coming up with an original move*

In addition you can see a couple of leaves drawn differently to each other. They were leaves I found in the misty forest of Scotland.

02) Duke Vienna and his usual droopy-eyed expression. His choice of weapon is a sword but I gave him a rapier instead.

03) Ruby 'Locke' Steadfast wearing a rather dashing colonial dress. She's still wearing the headband and is looking out of the balcony.

04) Sexy Ash in stop-motion of a running sequence. Notice the use of guidelines on his figure as well as the figure on No.01?

05) WATCH OUT! IT'S THE LOCH NESS MONSTER!!! (reference from Haggis Tours) I found their cartoon in their pamphlet humorous and ingenious.

Oh and the tree looks real, in fact it is based off a real tree I found when my tour bus drove by the surrounding forest nearby Port Augusta.

06) Figure guideline - it is an example of my experiment to use the 'shape and circle figure guideline' technique to prepare for full bodied character drawings. No. 08 is an alternate final result.

07) For some reason, in the middle of witnessing some beautiful backdrops of mountains, rivers and forests in my tour I drew not only those things but I was inspired to come up with a design for what the T.R.A.P. soldiers may be wearing during a march.

08) Drawing of Parmir showing sheer determination to do something (probably wants to save a princess from dismay) and a drawing of Duke in his casual wear - sitting quietly and admiring the peace whilst leaning on his sword, or perhaps he's thinking deeply about something...
