What do you find hardest in drawing a cartoon/real character?

It's those damn expressions! I just can't get them to smile so well or cry with such emotion...!
It's definitely those body proportions, I find it a challenge to get them to look right!
Drawing the hands!! THE HANDS DAMNIT!!
I can't seem to shape the way I want the body to express it's motive and emotions through action and dynamic posing to the keen observer.
It's gotta be the design, I just can't seem come up with a design that satisfies me.
I got the hang of the basics of drawing anatomy and character expression but it's just down to the very details to make it more expressive
I have more than one or two difficulty in drawing cartoon/real characters but I'm not to say that I don't have the fundamentals down.
I have more than 4 or 5 of the above options - I need help basically (and I find that frustrating!)
*NOTE: DON'T PICK THIS OPTION! - Please write down your feedback on your choice and what you think can be done to overcome your weakness

I find it hard to draw characters at different angles without distorting the character's figure. For example, when I did an expression sheet for a character, seeing his face in frontal view was good, but when his head turns to the side, it looks too thin...
