I want to thank   for joining me as active guests for this workshop, we had a fun time drawing these. I would also like to thank the people who joined us offline in the Picarto chatroom - and drew along with us!

We used the QUICKPOSE site for the first part of the exercise - 10 x 2 min sketches of faces for a warm up.

Next we used these faces as references for the next exercise. Using the same angle from the models we had to draw 4 expressions - MAD, SURPRISED, HAPPY and SAD. On top of that we were forced to replace those models with another character (OCs or existing). We only had 5 minutes each. This is what came out of it.

And finally we ended up with a 20 minute portrait - focusing all of our energy in capturing the essence of the portrait with the given time. Values were to be established.

This was the model we had to replicate:

And that's it! Another opportunity to practice on drawing faces under pressure.

For your information next SUNDAY, 17th DEC 2016, 10am PST, I'll be hosting the next session of Medieval-Jam! I can confirm that  and  will be joining me as active guests so there is much to look forward to!

As for Drawing Faces for next Monday, if you are keen on becoming an active guest then PM me on deviantART or Twitter - serious artists only (make sure you have good internet connection, a decent mic and webcam)! I will finalise the decision on whether you get picked or not. No exceptions.

Good luck and I'm looking forward to your participation!

Looking forward the next session! ;) And I hope I can be for the second session for drawing faces. Portraits are the most I like to draw from a model. :)
