This was originally the cover page image and splash page for pages 2 & 3 in book 2 of The Grand ASHWORTH Fortune. :) Now it is considered a proper Fortune in Colour piece.

Obviously when this gets printed it'll show in shaded/toned black and white! XXD Still nevertheless it's a rather cool drawing and I'm very pleased with the results. ^_~

This is a forecast of what's to come in book 2 so make sure you get a copy of the first book to catch up to what happened beforehand! :giggle:

Thanks again guys for congratulating me on my first book being published! It's one of the most awesomest feelings ever. ;) :hug:


*NOTES:*

  • The name of Duke Vienna's weapon is the Frost Edge Rapier. It transforms when he performs OVERDRIVE. His rapier is at a boosted state however Duke in this image does not appear to be in his transformed 'OVERDRIVE' state.


  • Notice how Duke's powers form the element ice and Salah's being the element of fire. Pretty cool combo for captain and vice captain of the Diamond Edge no? ;)


  • *Gasp* Salah vs. Stream! Woo! :D :D :D Well maybe it won't happen in the comic. ^^ Notice the blood smears on Stream's bandana? What does that indicate? O.O

  • Don't even ask me about what Ruby's wearing... XXD It will be revealed as I work on more preview pages for book 02. ;) I love how Ashworth is standing there all mysterious and such! Sexy little bugger! XXD

  • Ruby's friends - Cinnamon, Remy, Roland and Mrs. Strawberry all seem to be doing something! All of that will be revealed on the next page. ^_~ *thumbs up*

    This chapter is really intense...! ...And cool...and intense...And it really made me sad. :'( After Stream died and Ruby was going more insane than Iori Yagami on a goo day, I was crying as much as I was while watching Kyuubi Naruto vs. Masked Sasuke!

    Darkspeeds, Duke Vienna looks an awful lot like the character Duke from Tails Away. also, the lady with the glasses (Salah?) looks like the hostage that was going to fall off the boat. did you do that on purpose?

    Secondly, yes Duke Vienna is the Duke I used from TA. I used Duke on TA as a test pilot for character design and development in the near future. *thumbs up*

    Oh, sorry. I'm confused on all the names!(I meant the redhead in the foreground). Does this mean it is copyright infringement to use Duke in Tails Away now? (I mean, more than usual in a fancomic).

    You wouldn't be asking these questions if you've checked out the following:

    i) The description on each deviation
    ii) People's fanart
    iii) My comic preview pages

    The character in the foreground is Stream the Hawk.

    And no there is no copyright infringement if I use Duke because he is my original character and he was not present in any official games or concepts yet (fan comics are not official concepts).

    Aah, I'm sorry!I shouldn't even be bothering you about this! I know what Stream looks like. I meant the glasses girl on the right, whose name is Cinnamon, I think.(can't tell with the hood) Whatever, this isn't really important. thank you for wasting your time on my questions. (by the way, I have the first new page of Tails Away all penciled!)
