Sylvanna - The Zen of Zachary

This new comic series created by Dawn Best and Ian Flynn is something to be admired. I got their newsletter very recently that featured a one-shot comic to get the series started - it was an amusing and well written piece. I couldn't help but extend it as a mini comic drama.


I will say one thing that I didn't really like about this - and that's the voice I used for Bashu! lol I didn't want to spend too much time looking for auditions since I only wanted to keep this fun project limited to less than a week so that I can work on my portfolio preparation for Archie Comics. He didn't sound too horrible but I had a different voice in mind for him that perhaps a young teen could perfectly portray.


Anyways hope you guys will get into Sylvanna, I certainly am.

P.S. Sorry for the 'out-of-character' portrayal just before Bashu got slapped in the head! I wanted to experiment the super deformed style to see if it'd work. Anyways this project was a enlightening and creative exercise - thoroughly enjoyed it.
