Yay! I've finished a presentation this morning (all suit up and putting on a show! XD) and now I'm back home working half way on a report that is suppose to be due today! X_X;; XD
I needed a half an hour break so I decided to hop onto DA/Sonic Community to keep myself updated (yes I've checked your replies, comments, feedback and notes! X3 I shall get back to you soon!
I was inspired by
) on her achievement of 500 character eye references! ^^
At the same time I thought about the past and how my simple tutorials had helped so many Sonic fan artists (especially those who had just started and are really excited about drawing their first Sonic character!
I said to myself: "Elson you gotta do something about that! XXD"
So I did and decided to go for what inspired me during my browse through DA/Sonic Community. = )
I really hope this eye reference thing will help many! It's really true that getting those eyes right is an important step! The eyes can tell a lot in character expression and if you are able to master it you'll be able to portray the characters you draw more easily and with fluence. ^_~
Take care and keep up the awesome work everyone! *thumbs up*
And many thanks to Yuji Uekewa
for his Sonic Adventure style designs! Pretty much the style I use is derived from his! ^^
