Secret Freedom Squadron (Process) by darkspeeds Secret Freedom Squadron (Process) by darkspeeds
And this is how it came to be for this drawing I posted an hour ago > :star: Secret Freedom Squadron :star:

I love it when things come together - the best moment is when you've reached to points 07-08, because from there you can apply some special effects that can really spruce up your finished artwork!

Find out what combination of filters will suit you best and when you have figured out the combination make it an 'ACTION' on Adobe Photoshop to shortcut the process!

Why do you start things out with the color blue?

Originally I use blue for sketching roughs and guidelines on how the overall piece will come out at the end before inking. However in this case I changed my mind and went with the sketched art to be used in the final for line art.

Do you find that using colors besides black for the rough sketch process work better toward the overall piece you are working on?

Wow. Thanks for sharing this. I usually get to around the 5th panel stage then I get stuck... nice to see what extra touches can be added. :)
