I like this a lot. I'm glad you made this - you have some steps and techniques that I wouldn't have thought of! The textured background step is an example. Also, how the original basic colours of the characters are so vibrant, but the finished product is verymuch dulled in comparison! Interesting. I'm guessing you used the pen tool for the inking? Would you ever manually ink, or would that mess up a process you have going?

Yeah that's the greatest sacrifice you'll have to make at the end of the day - to make the right choice out of so many options! XD

I dulled it up to suit the twilight theme at the end - the day one looked really nice though!

I did very well used the pen tool for inking. ;) I did it all manually.

I think it's been a good move to keep it as simple as possible - just Sonic vs. Eggman. Tails and Amy will be making an appearance if you haven't noticed. :D

Very cool! Interesting how you use textures. I tend to experiment more with brushes and filters, myself. (I'm to lazy to go out and actually MAKE the textures. XD)

Say, did you tablet draw this on the computer?

What programs do you use to make the colors and text on your art? Its obvious that you don't use crayon and ink like I do.

It's all done with Adobe Photoshop.

The version I'm using is an old one known as Adobe Photoshop 7.

This program is powerful yet easy to use once you know the controls. *thumbs up*
