Just For Fun Series (Piece 22)

Source: Tails Away

This is pretty self explanatory. ^_~ Have fun reading and to the guys out there who wants to know how a manga page of Tails Away is produced hope this will help give you a useful guideline or a general idea of how it all works. ;)

P.S. Thank you kindly to all for commenting on my works previously! Your words of encouragement are always listened and your support is always valued. Take care and continue to keep up the fantastic work on DA/Sonic community! ^__^

===================================

JFF POLICY

:-- "Just For Fun Series" is used for the following reasons:

1) A teaser page for a current manga I'm working on. (e.g. Tails Away)

2) A resource page for a current manga I'm working on. This means a page that is sketched before-hand. A page that is drawn before the final finishing touches are added to the page. This is for those who wish to understand how some pages are drawn in the process.

3) A concept sketch of some sort. Maybe a character design of the latest manga: 'Healing Hearts' or a map/script in drawing of a certain chapter I'm doing.

4) A blooper of some sort but not done in the quality that is of a regular manga page with shading or other specified methods (e.g. coloured).

:-- All JFF pieces are sent to the scrapbook within a weeks time. Depending on the artist's decision, if he feels it should continue to stay in the 'deviant' gallery then it shall be done.

LEGALITIES

:-- Tails & Amy is (C) by Sonic Team
:-- Tails Away manga and concepts are (C) by Darkspeeds
:-- Opinions and feedback made by deviant artists, friends and sibblings are rightfully theirs. They are entitled to express their views and thoughts on anything of Tails Away. Please respect their words and feedback regardless. Thank you and hope you'll enjoy reading the manga. ^_^

It's cool that you scanned this up after portions of progress like that =]

LOL! I like the little doodle of Tails there where he's saying he'll leave it to Duke and the others. Your pencil line art looks awesome, you know! It's so clear and bold. It will be so cool if you make a comic page when you're here next year! I'd love to watch you draw something like that. Maybe we could even make a picture together. Anyhow, you did a nifty job of showing how you make your pages, and the order you do things in. You have some great techniques.

Aww thanks for all the wonderful comments you've been giving me lately sweety... :) :cuddle: I really appreciate all the little details that you point on each page - I learn something new from what you say each day. ^_~

Oh and sweety! X3;; About next year... I'm actually planning to bvisit you and your family after I graduate from university. ;) So there's still a long way to go but I'm counting towards this trip every single day. ^_~ *chuckle* *pokes at you* Thanks for the laughs on Saturday! XD Really sorry if things weren't consistent with the chat via phone - had to hang up here and there... X.X;; XD

Also sorry if I haven't answered your questions in regard to the Kingdom of Sorrow... Garrgh! I felt so silly not being able to answer your question directly! X_X;; I hope to do better in my responses in future Bobbi. :aww:

Love you lots, always an angel you are, as if looking you're watching over me from the heavenly skies each passing day. *smiles and kisses you on the cheek* See you on Wednesday when your computer is fixed up. ^^ ~

You're welcome as always. You leave me great comments, too! =]

It will be neat to see you! Matt will probably come during the summer a couple of times, too, so you'd probably get to see him, and maybe Peri as well.

Love you. ^^

Pretty cool buddy ^^ your step by step guide in how you do your mangas. *takes notes* So after you made the foreground... did you draw the background on the same paper with the foreground??

Yay! X3 XD *chuckle* ^_^ Mmhh... *nods head* Yes I drew the background on the same paper with the foreground (basically a follow up ^_~). For some reason I rarely use guidelines to draw in characters or backgrounds... ^_^ Only when it is in a very difficult angle I may need to use them but most of the time I don't to save time. ;) :D

A great example is the next manga page I'm submitting. Analyse the backgrounds and perspectives used. ^^ It can save a whole heap of time if you practice lots of times drawing and rely little on guidelines. ^_~ Sadly the next page I'm submitting is not of Tails Away... ;_; *gets killed by Tails fans including you... X_X;;;* LMAO! XXD ^_^

Coolies, inspires me to make a comic....maybe later lol, Im far too lazy. I actually prefer the second picture with "clean" characters, personally think it looks better left un-shaded if its done in black and white, but it still looks the bizz :D.
