This final artwork has been the most enjoyable, insightful and meaningful to create out of all of the commissions I've done in my lifetime. Geoff was kind to offer me such an interesting job to work on which is a scene based off a chapter of his Dreamkeepers inspired fan fiction: The Wayward Astronomer. He also commissioned me at such a good time because I had just finished my studies at the Academy of Art university for a year at the illustration department so it was the perfect time to put my new-found skills to the test.

I have Thomas Gronbukt to thank for making me care alot about the clothes Geoff's characters were wearing (folds and all), and how they pose.
I have Jasper to thanks for my improved rendering.
I have Carla, Carol, & Valerie to thank for making me think critically about drawing the figure convincingly and in dimension.
And finally I have Sheldon to thank for reminding me the importance of composition on canvas.

Despite the fact that it took me more longer than I should, I will proudly say that the time invested had not been wasted one bit. Every moment spent on this commission was a joy from concept sketches to the final touches on Hal (Geoff's main protagonist who is the feathered reptile; a raptor holding onto the crane for support - read the story to find out more about what happened and why he's down here meeting such interesting characters at the underground brothel via Passion Lounge).
