====---------------------------------------------------====

Ah the moment you've all been waiting for - Ashworth's Secret Weapon revealed! :D But where does it come from? The next two pages will explain! ;)

I like the intensity of these two pages. It's really advancing in the action right at this moment. But don't worry it's not going to go overboard, the next two pages (like I mentioned earlier will explain Ashworth's Magic Power type) will put a halt to that and ease the flow of things to come.

Anyways I'm going to be back in a week's time because I will be getting rid of the old computer and replace it with a brand new Mac Pro. :D I bought it from ebay for less than it's really worth - what a bargain! Thank to my bro's friend Adam Scanlan for his recommendation and for convincing me to buy one. I will post a journal about this with photos later. For now enjoy the comic! ;)

Thanks to :iconelisebellatrix: for the correction/ proper pronunciation of 'Voila'.

Awesome power that Ash has fullfilled upon for us.
I noticed that he said it was "102". Is that one of his powerful moves that he has? Sounds pretty cool. :D

I love Ashworth's "I'm so awesome it hurts" expression in the last panel.

Where do you get your fonts?

:icondarkspeeds:
darkspeeds Featured By Owner Mar 23, 2009  Hobbyist General Artist
The fonts came naturally from Adobe's set of fonts as well as Microsoft Office's own set of default fonts.

But for the more specilised ones I got them from websites! ;) [link]

The one I used most of the time for SFX is BADABOOM which can be found here! ;) [link]

When you have download your special set of fonts add them to your FONTS folder in Windows. Here's how: [link]

Check Hewligan's answer. Hope that helps! ;)

My main dialogue font is ANIME ACE if you must know. XD

You bought it for more than it's really worth? Are you sure you worded that correctly? I wouldn't be so happy if that happened to me.

Anyway, that's a manga attack at its best. In the face of imminent danger, the character has to charge up the required energy, announce the name of the attack, and only then may he proceed with actually using it. I'd just punch them in the face before they finish the speech.

Ah, whatever. That long time to execute the attack gives us awesome dramatic shots. Ash looks badass in the last panel of page 154.

LMAO! I just KNEW I worded that wrongly! :D :D

I'll go fix that up right after this comment. XD

Cheers for the feedback on the special move and the execution of it from Ashworth. :D I always enjoy doing these kind of scenes! ^^

"Furious Flame 102???" Isn't that a reference to Kyo Kusanagi???

I remember when you showed the previews  Specially the last expression of the first page is a good catch, I never saw one in that equal before from Ashworth.
Can I make a suggestion? In that same panel, I guess that Ash got too much manga tons, could look better if the white part be larger in the hand, like is showing in the arms? To make more effect about the light of his flames. Hum....maybe so...
Anyway, a Mac Pro? Whoa, that´s some good stuff! Probably I will have to buy a Apple when my course will be over.

Apple Mac's are pretty darn expensive - almost 3 times the price if you're going for a new one. best to get an older version via ebay - you save heaps more that way (and old doesn't necessary mean it's any worser) :D

Cheers for the suggestions. *thumbs up*

I hope so that will not be required a new version of Apple. Indeed they are very expensive computers, despites to be the best ones for designers due it great capacity to store big sized programs that I work as Maya, Solid Works and Flash.

Very cool Elson! :) I think I saw this sketched before but I don't remember when! XXD

One question. Are you sure you want to say "viola" ? By context I'm understanding that you mean the same than the French expression "voilà". Or that's what I think! ;P

Ha ha! You're welcome, Elson! ;) "Viola" in Spanish is a musical instrument, but also it's the third person of the verb "violar" which means "violate" XXD

Ashworth summons forth the flames of furry and shapes them into... a blunt stick?
Either it weights a few tons so that only he can wield it or Ash is some kind of a super cop? XDD *shot*

Nicely done Elson-boy.^^
But just now I've noticed that you don't use shading in all the panels, just on the special ones. That's good for me to know for the future, because it takes a lot of time to shade every single bit in the paneled pages.
But yeah, nicely done. :)

Good comic page. Well inked and full of action. Must say I like Ashworth, not really what I expected when just seeing the drawings of him in your gallery. Still a "tough-guy" air about him but after reading the comics a bit, I see he has a bit of a sweet personality (almost like a tiny goof-off). ^_^ Looking forward to reading more of these so please keep up the wonderful work as you are able.

Agreed. Main characters must have certain depths if they are to carry a series forward.
